Our Palo Santo is collected by hand from naturally fallen limbs and trees, documented by Peruvian government and forest agencies. It is illegal to cut down the trees for consumer use, so the trade of Palo Santo is highly regulated in South America. The company we source from works directly with the community that collects and cuts the palo by hand and they are also partnered with a conservation efforts in Peru.
